Now there are trains running. But most people use car for their commuting (and the companies lease cars as a part of the benefit) as far as I know. And the traffice jam is horrendous – in the worst case, almost the same as running in the middle of Shibuya or Shinjuku, or downtown Bangkok. It’s a classical chicken and egg example – you need a fairly broad train network to convice people, but you need demand from them to build the network..
